In Office File Creator Ver.1 (discontinued for sales), the paid version and the free version are separate products, and when migrating from the free version to the paid version, the Salesforce settings of the free version were not inherited, and the settings had to be re-configured in the paid version.

In Ver.2, the application itself is included in 2.0 (Free), and when upgrading from 2.0 to Standard/Pro, simply install Standard/Pro and the settings will be inherited.

About using Ver.1 after the end of the provision

  • Ver.1 is no longer available for new users, but existing Ver.1 users can continue to use both the paid and free versions.
  • When you renew your contract, it will be automatically renewed at the price at the time of contract renewal. There are currently no plans to change prices for existing contracts. If we decide to change the price of an existing contract in the future, we will contact the subscriber in advance.

 

Switching from Ver. 1 to Ver. 2

  • Ver.1 and Ver.2 are two separate products and cannot be upgraded by inheriting settings and data.
  • Ver.1 templates can be used in Ver.2. There is no change in layout specifications, but please check all current template patterns in the Sandbox before switching.

 

Ver.1 paid version subscribers

  • Ver.1 paid version and Ver.2 can be used at the same time. When using Ver.2, please install 2.0. You can access the Ver.2 tabs from the "Office File Creator" application.
  • Ver.1 paid version will not be automatically cancelled upon purchase of Standard/Pro. A separate cancellation procedure is required.
  • In a production environment, access to the application will be disabled when the license expires after the Ver.1 cancellation procedure. When uninstalling, please do so after the license has expired and is no longer available. The sandbox can be uninstalled at any time. After uninstallation, Ver.1 cannot be installed again.
  • The 6-month discount for the first year is available only for the same organization subscribing to the Ver.1 paid version when purchasing Standard/Pro.

 

Ver.1 Free version users

  • Ver.1 free version and Ver.2 cannot be used at the same time. When using Ver.2, please uninstall Ver.1 free version and install 2.0.
